I love a good themed party. All those coordinated decorations, favors and foods. Even better is when your guest play along by coming dressed to impress for the chosen theme! This could be why I love themed portrait sessions. Last year my favorite was a wonderful watermelon session designed by Nance’s Rustic Rentals. This year as I launch my Senior Team Experience I’m hoping to plan a lot more themed shoots! So to kick off the summer in style I planned this little Red, White & Blue portrait session with my daughter! What could be more fun then summer and ice cold coca-cola!
When you have four kids, all with busy schedules you learn to stack your outings to maximize the drive time. So a few weeks ago when my oldest has baseball practice I decided to take my daughter along for a mini photo shoot! I bribed her with coca-cola and a pretty awesome playground experience. Don’t judge sometimes a Momtog has to do what she’s gotta do to get some picture time in. It was a win-win for both of us. I had fun snapping shots of my beautiful girl and then we both had fun having dinner and playtime at the playground afterwards.
Well, now that you know I’m a sucker for themed events I’d love to help you plan a customized shoot. I love it when a good theme and party come together. What’s even better is when you are able to enjoy your event and beautiful images of all the details you planned. Playing hostess and photographer can be a tricky combination.
