Southern Peach Styled Shoot - Stacie Hubbard Photography

24th Ave Designs I live in this perfect little area of Fredericksburg, VA. While at my home you have the feeling of living in the country. No city lights or highway noise at night, only the twinkle of the stars and sounds of nature. It’s a great blend of country and mid-sized town all in one! The best part…access to restaurants, shopping and fun are literally only a 10 minute drive away! And the drive! It’s a wonderful stretch of road which runs past horse farms, vineyards and a beautiful river. There is this one horse farm that I’ve wanted to stop at and snap pictures of the amazing barn and beautiful painted horses roaming the fields. Well, I got my chance! Come to find out this horse farm is a new wedding venue called Arbor Haven managed by Keri Walker! So when Keri & Debbie Nance of Nance’s Rustic Rentals & Events teamed up to create a Southern Peach Styled Shoot I knew I had to attend!

When I first became serious about photography, I clearly remember saying “I could never be a wedding photographer”. The scope and pressure of capturing a once in a lifetime event seemed too overwhelming. However, as I looked for opportunities to shoot and learn I found myself second shooting a wedding for Ashley Kanton. The experience with Ashley was amazing! I was hooked! I totally loved capturing the details and finding fun creative ways to capture the events of the day. So when I don’t have a wedding on the books I look for other ways to practice what I love. I worked with Debbie before when she styled Down on the Farm with Daisy, her vintage camper. Her events are always full of amazing details to capture. This Southern Peach shoot was simply wonderful!! Peach pies & jams, she even found peach vodka!! The vendors she gathered for this event were simply amazing!! Each one bringing their own unique touch to make the day wonderful!
