Fridays in Fredericksburg – Sugar + Spruce Best Little Bath & Body Apothecary

Hey y’all! It’s time to get dirty, wash & repeat! We are visiting Sugar + Spruce for this Fridays in Fredericksburg. Some of you may remember this wonderful shop as Ladyburg. I discovered Ladyburg the first time I explored Fredericksburg. What woman wouldn’t gravitate towards the luscious scent of bath bombs? But as we roll into a new year, Ladyburg decided it was time for a new name! So if you haven’t been to the shop yet enjoy your first sneak peek as I take you inside!

Sugar + Spruce, the best little soap kitchen in Fredericksburg!

My first visit after the new look was during the launch party! Crystal, Morgan and their team sure know how to put on an amazing spread! My daughter and I had the best time! Mermaid tail cookies, ice cream cone treats, punch with rock candy swizzle sticks and the best of all cotton candy! Which also just so happens to be my favorite bath bomb scent. My daughter fell in love with everything she set her eyes on.  With bath bomb names like “Monkey Farts” and “Bite Me” this cheeky little shop keeps customers laughing & smiling the entire time they explore the shop! However, Sugar + Spruce is so much more than bath bombs! From handcrafted soaps to lip balms and everything in between. There are even wonderful products for that special man in you life! Our son loves his beard balm and soap dish. But you must try their whipped sugar scrubs! Can you say bath time luxury?

The next week I ventured back to Sugar + Spruce to capture some more pictures of their new, beautiful space. I was lucky enough to meet Crystal and chat with her for a bit! Now, I knew this was a family owned and run operation but I missed the part where Crystal and Morgan were mother and daughter. One look at these two beauties and I assumed they were sisters! Crystal, thank you so much for taking the time to chat with me! I loved hearing more about your story and future dreams for Sugar + Spruce. I love knowing you are doing what you love and love what you do. With the added bonus of enjoying this adventure of your family, you all are truly blessed!
