An Afternoon in Historic Fredericksburg A Little Girl Time is Always a Good Idea

Lifestyle

I’ve shared before how much I love collaborating with other creatives. I get such a great charge and new energy when working with others. Some work well alone but my creative process requires a great deal of give and take from  others with similar passions. Finding those people is the trick! This is where I believe God steps in and makes introductions. Enter Melissa Eadie! This beautiful woman has eyes filled with joy and an extremely contagious smile. From our first interactions online I knew we would be a great creative team! After months of planning and schedules being delayed due to weather we finally had the chance to work together for an amazing afternoon in Historic Fredericksburg.

With eyes on the skies I kept praying the rain would hold off. Clouds are fine! Clouds I don’t mind they offer such a great diffused light for taking pictures, especially downtown. So as I sat waiting outside Hyperion, I wondered what beauties Melissa would arrive with. The best part about shooting in Old Town Fredericksburg is I never have a plan. It all depends on what my clients are wearing and what we find as we stroll the streets. It’s always a little bit different and a whole lot of fun!

Melissa I had the absolute best time with you, Cally & Jess! The joy and light you all brought to our shoot was life giving! Within minutes I felt like we had been friends for years. I’m so excited to share these images from our shoot! I must say I had a hard time narrowing down my favorites, so I didn’t! I hope you love them! And I can’t wait to work with you again soon!!
