Senior Portraits in Historic Fredericksburg

Portraits, Senior Portraits

Senior Year! I remember high school being some of the best years of my life! Friends, sports, events and school spirit! I’m proud to say I was 100% school spirit nerd! I wore the school colors on spirit day. Loved attending the pep rallies before school on Friday’s. Never missed a football game (who misses Friday night lights in Texas?). I feel like I did a pretty good job of being involved by being a part of the JROTC unit, Orchestra and other clubs. Looking back on my busy student schedule I’m not really sure how I pulled off the good grades. But some how I managed to graduate red robe (A average) and looked forward to heading off to college in the Fall. However, I only have one regret. I didn’t take Senior pictures. Oh sure I have my yearbook photo but I don’t have pictures like the teens of today have to capture the essence of who they are during their senior year. Which is why I was so excited when Rysaan contacted me for his Senior Portraits in Historic Fredericksburg!

I only have one regret…I didn’t take Senior pictures.

When I met up with Rysaan in Downtown Fredericksburg I was so excited!! First, because Downtown Fred is only of my favorite places to shoot! Second, I had only had the chance to interact with this amazing kid near the baseball field. He plays short stop on the same travel ball team as my oldest son. He is an excellent athlete, team captain and all around great kid. But we had never really had time to just chat about him. After spending an hour with this guy I’m even more impressed! He already has his eyes set on a college of choice and an academic career path. Sure he loves baseball but his head was focused on his next steps for school.

Rysaan, I’m beyond grateful that you chose me to be your Senior Photographer! I had a fantastic time with you during our session. I’m excited to watch you grow and cheer you during your senior year, as you work towards your goals. Don’t forget to keep smiling! You really do have a fantastic smile! Use it! Often!! 😉
