Hey Y’all! Fall has finally arrived in Virginia and I have been out soaking up every minute of it. What has made this Fall even better is the fact that my calendar filled to capacity with amazing clients that want to get outside and take advantage of this amazing weather! We have explored the Barn at Chancellorsville and a new venue called Belle’s Pleasure which was absolutely beautiful. Can’t wait to share more about that fabulous location! But today I would like to introduce you to Kristen & David and share their amazing Fredericksburg engagement session at Old Milk Park.
I met Kristen through a mutual friend. We texted back and forth for a bit and then went through the usual inquiry emails but with my potential brides and grooms I really want to have a face to face! Choosing a wedding photographer is important. After all, on your wedding day I will be in your personal space… a lot! We met for the first time at Starbucks (no surprise right). When Kristen & David walked in my first thought was YES! Just from their smiles and warm welcome I knew I would love this couple!
I love the way they look at each other and the love you can see in their eyes.
It didn’t take long with Kristen and David to see they are a perfect match. I could see God’s hand all over their relationship. After listening to the story of how Kristen and David met and how they didn’t want to wait longer than necessary to begin the next chapter in their lives together, I knew we’d be a good match and I would be so lucky to have the privilege to be the one to capture their love. I was super excited for their engagement session because it would be a family session as well. This is a second marriage for both of them and they are each bring amazing children to this new family. I spent the entire session laughing with them and simply wanted to get to know them better. Their love for each other and their children overflows from their hearts. And if you watch carefully you will see it when they exchange glances with each other. It’s a beautiful thing to see.
