Wrangling little ones is tough work. But wrangling multiples is in a category all its own. With twins everything is doubled. I could recount all the stresses and negatives of having twins. Double feedings, double laundry, double the mess. But really as stressful as it can be, it can also be double the fun! Addie and Ansley are definitely double the fun! Every time I get to see the girls I know we are going to have an amazing time together. They are only 5 and yet so smart and witty. I truly love spending time with them. Listening to them share about the latest things they have learned. Answering the 500 questions they have. And of course love taking fun pictures with them. This time we decided to travel downtown to the Fredericksburg Market Square for our portrait session. We were aiming to unlock our inner rockstar!
The girls are twin actresses and their parents are amazing! Dawn and David clearly love their two girls and would do anything to support their dreams. But they also make sure their feet stay firmly planted on the ground! Working with the girls is so much fun. We laugh and play and I personally love capturing their silly faces. Which they are obviously good at from their acting work. It always seems as if one is more serious about our sessions than the other. They keep each other in line and I love it when they correct one another. “Don’t smile like that, it’s like this…” Ha! Simply watching the two of them together is a fun experience.
Dawn, I absolutely love spending time with you and the girls! They truly are so kind and loving, which only comes from great parenting. I love our time after the shoots as well when we get to simply enjoy a cup of coffee and take a breath from our world of parenting. I really do admire all you do for your family and those girls.
