A Day at Chancellorsville Brothers at the Barn

I’ve been waiting for a day at Chancellorsville Barn since August when Tracy called me to book the boys. Is it been a year since I spent some time with the Reds and I was excited to see how much these boys have grown since last year. I love that my clients become more like family. As I have developed a friendship with this family I have been able to watch these guys grow as well as cheer them on as they conquer the sports world. The football pics are my favorite so far! We had to delay our session almost a whole month due to all the wet weather Virginia has received this fall. So when the day finally arrived, the skies were bright and the sun was warm. Everything was perfect for a day at Chancellorsville.

I knew it was going to be a great day at the barn when we arrived.

It’s a natural light photographers heaven! Weeping Willows, rustic barn doors and rolling hills. But the best part was the perfect Fall weather! Bright warm sun, and a soft cool breeze greeting us as we stepped out of our cars. The guys looked awesome and seemed ready to take some amazing photos! We wandered from here to there searching for great light and beautiful backgrounds but really the focus was these handsome young men! They had definitely grown since the last time I saw them because this five foot three inch girl needed a step stool for most the day! Even though I was only photographing the boys I loved how Mom & Dad came along as well. I love it when families do even the small things together. It really builds great relationships and you can tell this family is tight! The day and the boys didn’t disappoint we had a great time and got some great shots too!
